COP 7 in Bonn and Marrakesh
In order to start the process again after the collapse of The Hague conference, the UN Climate Secretariat (UNFCCC) called for an extraordinary party conference in Bonn (COP 6). The detailed rules for the implementation of the Kyoto Protocol were adopted at COP 7 in Marrakesh in 2001, and are called the “Marrakesh Accords".
