Mud Clock
Friday, 22 May 2009 00:00
Don't believe what your mom has been saying all your life—there is always a
place for mud in the house, especially in the bedroom. The Mud Clock is an
eco-friendly clock that requires no batteries, just a little dirt and water.
Stick the clock powering components in the dirt and voila—the Mud Clock is
functional. Toss some seeds in the dirt to grow some maize, or other.
We need to preserve our planet and to begin to use new kind of energies. A chemical reaction between mud and metal becomes the power supply of this clock: no more electric power waste or batteries disposal!
The clock is made up of two recycled plastic bodies that are linked together: the shape resembles a pot and the plants inside help to absorb CO2 from the air and to produce oxygen. A timeless garden for your home!
