The Global Climate Wake Up Call
Friday, 18 September 2009 10:11
The world is sleepwalking into a crisis of epic and historical
proportions. On September 21st, TckTckTck partners along with thousands
of individuals will sound the Global Wake Up Call in cities, towns and
villages around the world. We need to wake up world leaders to the
crisis of climate change by making noise and ringing bells and showing
them that the world is ready for a bold climate deal in Copenhagen.
And thanks to people like you, the plan is working, incredibly. In just under a month of organizing, local leaders have registered more than 1,800 events on Monday, happening in 88 countries!
It is your turn to show world leaders that there is a huge and growing global movement to demand a fair, ambitious, and binding global climate treaty this year.
- If you haven't signed up already, register your own event.
