“Say what you think and add your voice to existing debates on the environment.”
There are certainly many ways to Copenhagen. And if you want to join the global climate debate, check out the green online community connect2earth. At Connect2Earth you’ll not just be part of a global discussion on important environmental topics – your voice may reach even further: You could become part of the official IUCN/WWF delegation to the UN climate negotiations in Copenhagen in December.
At the end of October 2009, a jury will select a winner among the best rated members, who will join a delegation to summit in Copenhagen. The community is regularly organizing contests, and a past competition brought one of the members to the World Conservation Congress in Barcelona, Spain, where she could speak her mind in front of world leaders.
Connect2earth has thousands of members from all over the world and ongoing online discussions every day. People can also express themselves through images and films. Join the discussions here!
About connect2earth:
- Connect2earth was started in spring 2008 by two of the largest and most influential environmental organizations in the world, World Wide Fund For Nature (WWF) and International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), with support from Nokia, the world’s largest mobile telecommunication company.
- Each month the organizers choose essential environmental topics, and give people the opportunity to express themselves.
- On connect2earth you can upload your films, images, or words, you can comment on other people entries, you can vote for what catches your eyes.
