Global Parkour Jam against Climate Change – 26 September
Tuesday, 22 September 2009 10:47
As part of the One Giant Leap Climate Change Campaign, Sandbag, a campaigning organisation focused on emission trading, is joining forces with Parkour Generations and the International Parkour and Free-running Community to stage the world’s first ever global parkour jam against climate change.
Through this event, Sandbag aims to mobilise direct public support for the Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen this December. In a global petition they will call on world leaders to JUMP start a climate deal, DROP global power emissions by 10 per cent and ROLL out clean electricity everywhere. The One Giant Leap policy focuses on 3,330 power stations worldwide which produce one quarter of the global carbon emissions.
