Why she is cool: In 2007, Margot Wallström, launched with two other leading female politicians, “the Road to Copenhagen”, a unique initiative which allows individuals to contribute to the UN climate negotiating process which aims at securing an international climate agreement for the post-2012 period to be finalized in Copenhagen in 2009.
Cool facts: Since 2004, Margot Wallström is the Vice President of the European Commission in charge of Institutional Relations and Communication.
From 1999 to 2004, she served as Environment Commissioner in the Prodi Commission.
