UNDP Launches Climate Change Advertising Campaign
Tuesday, 10 March 2009 09:44
The UN Development Programme (UNDP) has launched a global advertising campaign, which aims to help people reduce their carbon footprint. Climate change is the defining human development issue of the current generation and the campaign is based on the argument that the best form of insurance we can give to our children is to reduce greenhouse gases.
The campaign encourages people to follow 12 simple things to
reduce your carbon footprint. The list includes simple tips like using a cloth
shopping bag, turning off electronic
appliances and optimizing your car speed.
