Entitled “The upside of a downturn: Strategic responses to the crisis”, this event in Portugal brings together more than 250 specialists and top management of international organizations from 12 sectors of the economy including telecommunications and banking, among many others involved in the Contact Centres’ business worldwide. Over the two days, participants will debate and share ideas on the issues that are crucial for the sustainable development of companies in general and the role of this particular activity, within the current socioeconomic context. |

Book launches and autograph sessions
Making the most of the presence of Amantha Imber and Gregg Stocker, the launch of their most recent books,“The 52 rules of creativity” and“Avoiding the Corporate Death Spiral: Recognizing & Eliminating the Signs of Decline” respectively, will take place, followed by autograph sessions by the authors.
ROUND TABLES
There will be 4 round tables involving our associates and other guest speakers – representing the government, trade unions and companies – to discuss key issues for the sustainability of the contact centres’ business in Portugal.
The following 4 themes will be discussed:
- Labour market flexibility;
- Good practices in human resources management;
- Specialised services: an advantage;

Representatives from the Government, trade unions and various international organizations linked to this sector, will also attend the event.
APCC AWARDS
On the 25th, during the Gala Dinner, the winners of the “APCC Portugal Best Awards” will be announced. These awards annually distinguish the best Portuguese Contact Centres.
