Partnership for Climate
The "Partnership for Climate" is the platform established to co-operate for preventing the climate changes and for educating the whole society to change their attitude from passive to active. It was invented and established by Ministry of Environment in
Poland, and the idea is supported by UNFCCC. “Partnership for Climate” was initiated August the 31, 2008 and its main objective was to educate and build the awareness by several meetings, event and conference, with the COP14 as crowning achievement last year. In 2009, there is a focus on constant development of platform and on giving a international meaning to this initiative. It will be beneficial for countries/organizations/societies to exchange the experiences to raise the interest in the climate changes issues among media and to support local activities and its effectiveness.
At present, there are more than 30 diverse organizations and institutions co-operating with Ministry under the “Partnership for Climate”, with more than 40 activities planned for this year.
