Vlaamse Vredesweek (Flemish Peaceweek)

The flemish peace week is a yearly sensibilsation campaign around certain peace-related themes. This year the theme is "Work on climate, for peace." From 25 september 2009 to 04 october 2009 a whole series of events will be organised that try to create more awareness about the link between climate change and the (both local and international) conflicts this is creating or will create.

As usual the flemish peaceweek produces educational material, holds broad awareness-actions and engages in political lobbying to put the ever more necesary peacework on everybodies agenda.
