INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FESTIVAL (Festival Internazionale dell’Ambiente)

People and governments all over the world are concentrating their attention on a topic that is at the heart of the scientific, political and media debate: how to pursue lasting development and welfare goals and combining them to environment sustainability.

The very urgent challenge deals with energy. Indeed, many of the meetings scheduled in different Countries testify the common commitment to find solutions able to conciliate the productive and economical development with elevate energy efficiency and a reduction of the greenhouse gases.

Under this perspective, Legambiente and L’Umana Dimora, in cooperation withLombardy Region, Milan Chamber of Commerce, EXPO 2015, Municipality of Milan, La Triennale di Milano, give birth to a special event able to promote environment awareness together with scientific remark – the Milan International Environment Festival, a series of conferences and events that is going to take place from 25^th to 28^th September 2009.

The programme will be full of meetings: scientific debates, entertainment events and edutainment moments will involve citizens and experts, pursuing solutions, resources and planning capacity for a safer and more liveable future.

In particular, the opening event will be:
